The Environment Authority has started the first phase of planting frankincense trees in the Mudam area of Salalah.

Mudam is part of a group of environmental parks planned to attract the most prominent wild trees in the Dhofar Governorate.

The garden can accommodate more than 11,0000 trees and an area of 181,000 sqm.

During the first phase, 500 frankincense trees were planted, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, the Nature Conservation Society (under establishment), and the local community.
